Ken Cawthorne

Charcoal portrait of my father when he was a young man. Drawn on Canson Mi-Teintes paper, from an old photograph. He served in three regiments during WWII: The Royal Artillery, The King’s Liverpool Regiment and The South Wales Borderers. I think from the overall shape of the cap badge that the photograph was probably taken while he was in the South Wales Borderers. Size unframed: 28 x 38cm. Not for sale.
