![Coxhoe Mill Path winter landscape painting](https://www.gilliecawthorne.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/coxhoemillpath600.jpg)
Soft pastel painting of a frosty winter afternoon. Since early childhood I’ve loved the walk around Coxhoe Hall, birthplace of poet Elizabeth Barrett Moulton-Barrett (later Elizabeth Barrett Browning). Sadly even the ruins of the hall have almost disappeared now. All that remains is a carpet of snowdrops where the gardens once were.
Pastel on blue Canson Mi-Teintes card 60 x 45cm. For sale.
