Thank you very much for all who came along – what a lovely two days! Really appreciate it.
A Year on Alston Moor: Gillie celebrates twelve months on Alston Moor with a solo exhibition of her paintings.
“A Year on Alston Moor” will feature watercolours and pastels inspired by the life and landscape of the beautiful high Pennines.
“We’ve loved living up amongst the scurrying clouds, in spectacular light and ever changing weather. Every day I’m inspired by walking in the rugged landscape and enjoying the sights and sounds of all the animals and birds which live around us. From red squirrels to lead mines, the list of paintings I’m planning is growing faster than I can paint. This landscape has it all.”
The show was from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December 2017, in the Town Hall, Alston, Cumbria CA9 3RF.
